Drumond Ricardo Roby barred from securities industry

FINRA recently announced that former H&R Block Financial Advisor Drumond Ricardo Roby has been barred from association with any FINRA member in any capacity.

The sanction was based on findings that Roby misused funds belonging to customers whose accounts were inactive by changing the names and addresses on the accounts, without the customer’s knowledge or approval, and issued $17,900 in checks from the account to himself at his address, endorsed the checks and received the funds.

According to his FINRA Broker Report (CRD), it appears that Drumond Ricardo Roby was a registered representative in Ferndale, Michigan with H&R Block (n/k/a Ameriprise Financial) from approximately 2001-2007.
