Did you invest in TSG Real Estate, LLC-Series 2007-A Debenture Offering? If so,The White Law Group may be able to help you recover your investment losses.

According to SEC Filings, TSG is Headquartered in Chicago, IL and was organized in 2003. It was reported that in January 2009, the Illinois Secretary of State issued a Temporary Order of Prohibition prohibiting Wayne “Rob” Hannah, founder and CEO of TSG Real Estate from selling any additional securities in that state. The finding is that Hannah and TSG failed to adequately disclose to new investors that the firm had a number of unhappy investors in prior projects and had been sued in 2003. Illinois purportedly determined that such material disclosures were necessary because many investors would not have invested with TSG if they were aware of these claims.

The White Law Group is investigating the liability that some brokerage firms may have for recommending TSG Real Estate and any of the affiliated investments, including TSG Capital Fund I, Green Realty Trust, and Insight Real Estate,

Brokerage firms that solicit private placements, like TSG, are required to perform adequate due diligence to ensure the investments likelihood of success, and that investment recommendation are suitable for each individual investor. The investment should be in line with regulatory guidelines that include the client’s age, risk tolerance, net worth, and investment experience. If a broker fails to make suitable investment recommendations or fails to perform adequate due diligence, they may be liable for investment losses.

Private placements are typically high risk securities products that often lack liquidity. Despite the inherent risk associated with private placements, some brokers eager to make a sale, often tout the potential for high returns and downplay the risks.
