The company, based in Fremont, CA, reported a loss of $2.3 million in its first quarter, on May 9. Asterias said it had a loss of 4 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 9 cents per share.
According to Yahoo Finance, in the final minutes of trading on May 9, the company’s shares hit $1.30. A year ago, they were trading at $3.15.
