Securities Fraud Investigation – Bradley Reifler – Forefront Capital Markets – New York, NY

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the regulator has reportedly barred former financial advisor Bradley Reifler from the securities industry.

In an investigation into whether Respondent Bradley Reifler perpetrated a fraudulent scheme to misappropriate millions of dollars, FINRA Staff requested that Reifler give on-the record testimony. According to FINRA, Reifler refused to answer questions asked by FINRA Staff.

The complaint alleges that FINRA conducted an investigation into a closed-end mutual fund that Reifler created while associated with his member firm. The closed-end mutual fund was allegedly marketed as a high-yield fund that would provide non-accredited investors access to those investment opportunities previously reserved for the one percent.

While Reifler appeared for testimony, “he refused to answer many questions asked by FINRA relating to his involvement in the closed-end mutual fund and the use of the closed-end mutual fund investors’ money.” Consequently, he has been barred from associating with any FINRA member firm in any capacity.

According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Reifler was registered with Forefront Capital Markets in New York, New York from March 2011 until August 2015. He has 5 disclosure events listed on his broker report.
