Former Broker James W. Murphy Pled Guilty

As trustee of the Elizabeth Parkman Foundation, Murphy, was accused of spending the foundations money on personal expenses. Allegedly Murphy spent the money on such things as vintage cars and vacations.

According to Murphy’s BrokerCheck Report, he worked as both a broker and financial adviser for Morgan Stanley DW from June 1983 through May 2007, Morgan Stanley & CO from April 2007 through June 2009, and Morgan Stanley from June 2009 through May 2013.
