Recovery of Investment Losses in Welsh/CNL Properties I LLC

According to a letter to investors dated August 5, 2016, Colliers International  began to market the 13 properties owned by Welsh/CNL Properties in January, and in May 2016  entered into an agreement to sell the portfolio for approximately $122.5 million. By the end of June 2016, the buyer terminated the agreement.

Unfortunately for investors, the properties were acquired in June 2006 for an aggregate price of $143.3 million and according to the company they  anticipate that any future sale price will be less than $122.5 million and that the range of liquidating distribution will be less than $2,000 per $5,000 investment.
