According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the regulator has reportedly barred financial advisor Michael J. Resciniti from working in the securities industry after he reportedly failed to request termination of his suspension within three months of the date of the Notice of Suspension.

According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Resciniti was reportedly affiliated with Spartan Capital Securities in Garden City, NY from July 2016 until February 2018. Prior to that, he reportedly worked at numerous other firms in the New York area. In his 17 year career in the securities industry, Resciniti was reportedly affiliated with 19 different firms, according to his broker report.

In 2017, FINRA reportedly suspended Resciniti for seven months when he allegedly “executed 31 unauthorized transactions in the accounts of two customers of his member firm.”

His publicly available broker report reportedly indicates that 8 customer complaints have been filed against him for various allegations, including “churning, unauthorized trades, and unsuitable investments.”

Investigating Potential Claims
