According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Investment News, FINRA has reportedly barred former Janney Montgomery Scott broker Paul Pitsironis from the brokerage industry for allegedly stealing $411,000 in cash from a client’s account.

According to a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver & Consent, Pitsironis purportedly transmitted the cash from a client’s securities account at Janney to a personal bank account via 22 ACH transfers in May and June 2019.

Pitsironis, who was registered with Janney Montgomery Scott in Melville, NY was reportedly dismissed on June 19  “after an internal investigation uncovered that the FA transferred funds via unauthorized ACHs from a client’s account to a third party bank account owned and controlled by the FA.”

Pitsironis, who has previously worked for Wells Fargo and RBC Markets in New York, has reportedly been employed for 22 years in the securities industry, according to his broker profile.

Investigating Potential Claims
