According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, on November 12, the regulator has reportedly barred financial advisor Gerald A. Eaton after he allegedly failed to produce information and documents relating to FINRA’s investigation into his recent alleged dismissal from his member firm.

According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Eaton was reportedly affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network in Acton, MA from 1995 until 2018, when he was allegedly dismissed after he “fraudulently facilitated distributions from the accounts of clients without their knowledge or consent or for their benefit.”

According to an article in Think Advisor yesterday, Commonwealth reportedly terminated Eaton’s affiliation with Commonwealth Oct. 28 and “informed law enforcement of his activities,” according to Commonwealth senior vice president and general counsel Jim Adelman.
