Bloomberg Tax: Tax-Writeoff Promoter Stifled by DOJ Lawsuit, featured by Top Securities Fraud Attorneys, The White Law Group

Despite a government crackdown on tax shelters known as “syndicated conservation easements,” they are still being marketed in some publications, according to an article in Bloomberg Tax.

EcoVest Capital Inc.,  promoter of syndicated conservation easements, is still operating, but reportedly  struggling in after the Department of Justice lawsuit alleges “abusive tax scheme.” The Internal Revenue Service has pledged a broad crackdown.
