FINRA Reportedly Fines Advisor Kerry Dean Wills for Borrowing $150,000 from Elderly Client

According to public records on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s website, the regulator has suspended and fined Wills after he allegedly borrowed $150,000 from a 90-year-old customer in violation of his member firm’s procedures. FINRA’s findings further stated that Wills purportedly accepted a gift of approximately $19,500 in luxury travel from the customer without disclosing the gifts to the firm, allegedly in violation of firm rules.
According to his broker report, Wills is reportedly registered with First Western Securities in Manhattan Beach, CA.
