FINRA Reportedly Suspends Advisor Scott P. Kozak 

According to public records on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s website, on March 18, 2020, the regulator reportedly suspended Kozak from associating with any FINRA member firm for two years and fined him $10,000.

According to the findings, between 2011 and 2014, Kozak allegedly participated in three sets of private securities transactions purportedly without providing prior written notice to his member firm, allegedly ”soliciting twelve firm customers and three Cetera registered representatives to invest $1,166,000 in the securities of two companies.”

Additionally, between January 2016 and March 2017, Kozak purportedly engaged in an outside business activity without notifying his Firm, “by forming a company through which he purchased the assets of, and operated, the company that was the subject of the second and third private securities transactions.”

According to his broker profile, Kozak was reportedly registered with Cetera Advisors in Highlands Ranch, CO from 2001 until 2018 when he was allegedly discharged for  “Violating firm policy prohibiting Personal Securities Transactions”. His broker report indicates his Other Business Activities included IGC, LLC and Dominican Home Health Agency. Kozak reportedly has four customer complaints during his career in the securities industry.
