Financial Advisor Art Hoffman, Ameriprise Financial Services in Glendale, AZ 

According to public records on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) website, the regulator has reportedly barred financial advisor Arthur Hoffman after he apparently failed to provide information in its investigation about his alleged outside business activities.

On April 17, 2020, FINRA reportedly opened an investigation in response to a FINRA disclosure filed by Ameriprise on April 13, 2020, which stated that “Hoffman had been suspended for company policy violations related to outside business activities and private securities transactions.”

After FINRA staff sent a request to Hoffman for the production of information, he purportedly refused to cooperate with the investigation and consequently has been barred for associating with any FINRA member at any time.

According to his broker profile, Hoffman has reportedly been registered with Ameriprise Financial Services in Glendale, AZ since 2016.  Prior to that, he was reportedly affiliated with Wedbush Securities for 7 years. He has 1 customer complaint reportedly filed against him during his career in the securities industry, according to FINRA. Allegations include “claims for Arizona securities fraud.”  The damage amount requested was reportedly  $1,000,000 and the settlement amount was purportedly $329,500, according to his broker profile.
