FINRA bars Peter Ianace after he Failed to Provide Testimony in its Investigation
According to public records this week, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has reportedly barred financial advisor Peter Ianace (CRD#: 3238078) after he failed to provide information in connection with FINRA’s investigation into Ianace’s potential failure to disclose outside business activities to his member firm.
FINRA Rule 3270 prohibits registered advisors from engaging in any business activities, outside the scope of their relationship with their member firm, unless they have provided adequate prior written notice to their member firm.
According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Ianace was currently registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services in Plano, TX from 2018-2019. Prior to that, he was affiliated with Merrill Lynch in Frisco, Texas for 8 years. He reportedly has 3 customer complaints filed against him during his career in the securities industry — one pending, one closed – no action and one settled. Allegations include unsuitable investments, among others.
