Investigation Into Possible Securities Fraud Involving Northern Trust Securities / Vision Investment Services

The White Law Group is investigating a possible securities fraud claim on behalf on an investor involving Northern Trust Securities, Inc. / Vision Investment Services, Inc. financial advisor Marc Brock. Specifically, we are investigating whether Northern Trust / Vision Investment Services failed to supervise Brock’s recommendation that the investor purchase a Pacific Life variable annuity policy. Based on our preliminary investigation, it appears that Brock recommended the variable annuity policy for the investor despite the fact that the source of the funds for the annuity were already in the investor’s IRA (and did not need the tax benefits offered by a variable annuity investment) and the investor already owned two variable annuities. Now the investor is unable access his own money without paying a substantial surrender charge.

According to his FINRA Broker Report, prior to working at Northern Trust / Vision Investment Services in Winnetka, Illinois, Marc Brock worked as a registered representative Olde Discount Corporation. Brock appears to be currently working in Scottsdale, Arizona and is still registered with Northern Trust / Vision Investment Services.
